  •    What is Web Space?

    Web Space is the amount of disk space you purchased on the server to host your website files.

  •    How do I access my Web Space and Email Accounts.

    After activation of your Web Space, you will be get login details of control panel user name and password to your email id. You can access your web space and create email accounts after logging in to the control panel.

  •    Can I access my Web Space using telnet/SSH?

    Remote access (via telnet, SSH or RDP) is not available with our shared hosting. Our Cloud VPS and Dedicated Server products offer full root SSH access (Linux Only) and RDP access (Windows Only). This gives you full control of your Virtual and Dedicated Server Environment.

  •    What is Data Transfer / Bandwidth you provide ?

    Netandhost.com offers unlimited bandwidth for some plans based on customers requirement. By this, we mean customers will get default 1 GB of bandwidth for visitors to view per month. However, if they require additional bandwidth, it can be increased through their control panel at free of charge. Any hosted website or service with Netandhost.com must not use excessive amounts of server resources and bandwidth as specified here. The excessive list includes bandwidth, processor utilization and / or disk space or anything which affects other customers or performance of our service Bandwidth refers to the amount of data that is allowed to be transferred to and from your website on our servers. All our plans have unlimited bandwidth which is more than sufficient for a basic web site. Customer agrees that he/she shall not use excessive amounts of CPU processing and / or Memory on any of Netandhost.com servers. Any violation of this policy may result in corrective action by netandhost.com, in its sole reasonable discretion, including assessment of additional standard charges, disconnection or discontinuance of any and all services, or termination of the website with prior notice to the customer.

  •    What is the difference between Linux and Windows accounts?

    We offer a choice between Linux and Windows web hosting platforms. While both are very reliable and widely used platforms, each has their specific advantages. If your website is developed using microsoft technology like ASP.NET, MS Access and SQL database then Windows hosting will be the right choice. If it is designed using PHP and My SQL / PG SQL then you should take a Linux hosting plan. If you are using only html pages your website will work on both linux and windows.. Globally most of the websites are hosted in Linux Platform.

  •    Do you offer any custom hosting packages?

    All our hosting plans are pre-defined. You have the choice of upgrading your plan any time. Upgrades are done immediately and do not affect your hosting. We can provide custom plans based on requirements.

  •    Can I install custom COM objects?

    Hosting support on DLL's, COM components, and .exe's are not provided in shared hosting service. It is possible only in Dedicated Server Hosting.

  •    Do you support ASP in Shared Hosting Server ?

    ASP and ASP.NET 1.1/ 2.0 are fully supported on any of our Shared Windows hosting platforms.

  •    Does your hosting support PERL?

    PERL is fully supported in both Linux and Windows hosting platforms. Since most of the perl scripts have been developed in Unix Platforms . This works more smoothly under Linux Server.

  •    Does your hosting support PHP?

    Both Linux and Windows Hosting support PHP 5 and PHP 4, a scripting language similar to HTML. Using PHP, you can track and authenticate users, serve up XML pages, add additional functionality to forms, and much more.

  •    Do you hosting support Macromedia Shockwave and Flash?

    These Multimedia utilities are fully supported by all hosting plans. All Flash and Shockwave technologies are supported so you can feel comfortable when you host Flash and Shockwave files. It is recommended not to have complete website developed in Flash as it will consume more time to download and another important factor is search engines does not accept flash files. Thereby your website is not ranked high in rankings.

  •    Do you provide SSL support for Websites?

    If a customer wants his website to be hosted with SSL We provide SSL certificate Installation and support only on our hosting services .We will provide the complete support from purchase. With a SSL certificate you can have a secure encrypted website. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection. Because SSL is built into all major browsers and web servers, simply installing a digital certificate turns on their SSL capabilities.   •    Do you provide website traffic statistics?

    Yes, we do provide Webalizer and AWStats for your website. It will be available in your hosting control panel.

  •    What are your DNS servers?

    Please note that you will have to use the nameservers associated with the control panel you are hosted on. Each control panel has two configured nameservers. In order to confirm which nameservers you should use please refer to the email sent to you at the time of your account creation.

  •    Can I host an E commerce on-line store?

    Yes, you can host and on-Line E commerce Store on our hosting servers. We have different E commerce plans. It has got all the features an online store requires you only have to buy payment gateway and integrate with the Ecommerce website. For further details you can check our website.

  •    Do you offer VPS and Dedicated Server Hosting ?

  •    Do you offer any hosting plan for resellers?

    We do offer hosting for resellers. Resellers can sell hosting either in their Brand Name or in a default name

  •    What is the uptime of your servers?

    Netandhost.com guarantees 99.5% bandwidth uptime for all HTTP and HTTPS requests per calendar month on the above service plans. Any outages lasting a minimum of 15 consecutive minutes are considered a service outage for calculating availability. Should Web site availability drop due to the bandwidth downtime below 99.5%, the Netandhost.com customer will be eligible for the following percentage credits based on the Monthly Recurring Charges (MRC). If the customer has opted for a prepay option, the credit will based on the equivalent MRC.

  •    What kind of backup policies do you have in place?

    Netandhost.com takes extreme steps to maintain system integrity. However, netandhost.com is not responsible for loss of data due to any cause. To ensure the highest level of data protection, netandhost.com recommends that all information be backed up by the CUSTOMER. As with any data that you hold a high importance to, it should be in more than one location at all times. Customer agrees to take full responsibility for files and data transferred. All netandhost.com data backups are designed against hardware failure and not for customer user error.

  •    What are your payment policies?

    All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although netandhost.com reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all-pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. Payment is due each anniversary year following the date the account was established. Payments are accepted by Internet Bank Transfers/ Cheque/ Cash deposit to our bank a/c for customers in India. For customers outside India Payments are accepted thru Wire Transfer / Credit Cards.
    Netandhost.com reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debit if any is cleared.   •    How can I cancel my hosting account and request a refund?

    Fees paid for any one of the services are non-transferable for other services once the service is activated. In addition some accounts incur set-up fees, these charges are also non-refundable. Refunds are available only in case of claims within a period 1 week from the date of activation of the hosting plan.
